Confidence In Times Of Despair

Society today has grown far more sophisticated, self-sufficient, and security conscious than ever before. However, people are only too aware of how fragile their confidence is, and how quickly their peace can be shattered by things like sickness, fear, disappointment, conflict, injustice, betrayal and bad-news. As disciples of Christ though, we are able to live secure, confident and faith-filled lives at all times, and regardless of our circumstances. In doing so, we become an effective reflection of His glory, just as the early believers were in the New Testament church.
